Ingredients

Scale

Dough

  • 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough (8 rolls)

Filling

  • 6 oz crab meat (fresh, canned, or imitation, drained and chopped if needed)
  • 4 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 green onions, finely chopped
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

Optional Topping

  • 1 tablespoon melted butter (for brushing)
  • Garlic salt or chopped fresh parsley (optional garnish)

Instructions

  • Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat for easy cleanup.

  • Make the Filling
In a medium bowl, mix crab meat, cream cheese, shredded cheddar, green onions, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until fully combined and creamy.

  • Assemble the Rolls
Unroll crescent dough and separate into triangles. Place a spoonful of crab filling at the wide end of each triangle, then roll tightly toward the tip. Arrange on the baking sheet, point-side down.

  • Add Toppings (Optional)
Brush the tops with melted butter and sprinkle with garlic salt or parsley for extra flavor and color.

  • Bake
Bake for 12–15 minutes or until golden brown and puffed. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • Substitute crab with cooked shredded chicken or sautéed mushrooms for a different twist.
  • For extra flavor, add a dash of Old Bay seasoning or hot sauce to the filling.
  • Make ahead: Rolls can be assembled and refrigerated up to 8 hours before baking.
  • Reheat in oven or air fryer for best results — avoid microwaving to preserve flakiness.
